Serebrier's Symphony No. 3 is among the nominees for Best Classical Contemporary Composition. And at a tender age: recorded immediately following its composition, the work has not yet had its concert performance premiere.
Serebrier will be competing against himself in the Best Orchestral Performance category, in which the Symphony No. 3 is joined by his performance of Ned Rorem's Three Symphonies (see below). Both recordings are on Naxos.
