'Later the Same Evening'
Music by JOHN MUSTO and Libretto by MARK CAMPBELL
Inspired by Five Paintings of Edward Hopper

You'll laugh:

You'll cry:

You'll never be bored:

You'll see them meet:

You'll see them part:

There's singing:

There's dancing:

You’ll see a young man come to
the excitement of New York in the ‘Thirties ––
and a young woman leave in dejection:

It was born from Washington’s National Gallery exhibition,

Nurtured by Maryland’s opera workshop,

And brought to New York by
the Manhattan School of Music.
